Billionaire Bernard Arnault’s heir spotted with Blackpink Lisa’s family in Bangkok

Frédéric Arnault, the son of French billionaire Bernard Arnault, was seen with the family of Lisa, a member of the K-pop group Blackpink, at the Bangkok premiere of the third season of “The White Lotus.”

Pinkvilla reported that at the Feb. 14 event, Arnault kept a low profile but was still recognized by attendees. Videos showing the billionaire heir with the singer’s family and entourage circulated widely on social media.

This was not the first sighting of Arnault in Thailand with the Blackpink star. Last month, social media buzzed with footage purportedly showing the pair at Bangkok’s Wat Arun Temple.

The public became aware of their connection after Arnault began following Lisa on Instagram in 2022.

Lisa, born Pranpriya Manoban and currently 28 years old, launched her career with Blackpink in 2016 and embarked on a solo venture in 2021 with her album “Lalisa.” Her single “Money” propelled her to become the first K-pop artist to achieve over 1 billion streams on Spotify with a single song.

Known as a fashion icon, she represents high-profile brands such as Celine and Bulgari, and boasts over 105 million followers on Instagram.

Arnault, 30, serves as CEO of the watch division at LVMH, managing prestigious labels including Hublot, TAG Heuer, and Zenith.

As of Feb. 17, Forbes lists Bernard Arnault and his family as the fifth wealthiest in the world, with a net worth of US$192.9 billion, primarily from their LVMH stakes in luxury brands like Christian Dior, Fendi, Loewe, Celine, and Bulgari.

“The White Lotus,” created for HBO, is an American black comedy drama anthology television series. Lisa’s role in the third season as Mook, a hotel receptionist, marks her acting debut in Hollywood.
