The singers and Stefani’s sons Apollo and Zuma took a woodsy vacation in Missouri
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are recapping their woodsy spring break.
On Thursday, April 10, the “Just a Girl” singer shared an Instagram Reel of her and Shelton’s getaway to the Ozarks, where her sons Zuma and Apollo joined them. “such an unforgettable time at @bigcedarlodge 💐,” Stefani, 55, wrote.
“the flowers, the food, the family memories. thank u for making it all so special 💛 gx.”
The video features glimpses of their vacation, including views of a golf course, gorgeous stone buildings, decadent meals and exploring the grounds.
The Big Cedar Lodge in Missouri thanked Stefani and her family for visiting their resort. “This is amazing 👏 Thank you for exploring the Ozarks and for sharing the memories!”
Stefani’s spring break recap is set to Stefani and Shelton’s “Purple Irises,” a song part of Stefani’s more recent album Bouquet. She told PEOPLE in November about the LP, which features songs about her love story with Shelton, 48. The couple first got together in 2015 while coaching on The Voice.

“Purple Irises” was born from the couple’s shared love of yacht rock. “We come from such different worlds. Our musical tastes are different, yet we do come together in this one place: We both love ’70s soft rock and yacht rock,” she explained.
When she and Shelton got together, Stefani said they “would always play this game, and we would put on a song and say, ‘Do you know this one?’ And it would always be these ’70s songs.”
Stefani also revealed that Shelton courted her through music. “I think he really wanted to impress me, because he doesn’t really write songs as much as he used to. And I love writing songs. That’s everything to me,” she told PEOPLE.

“If I want to feel like I have any kind of purpose or any kind of value or anything, it’s about writing a song. That’s where I get my fulfillment.”
The musicians wound up writing the country duet “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” which Stefani released in 2016. “He sent it to me, and it was a half-written song. He was like, ‘Help me finish this.’ So I wrote him the verse back — the second verse on the song — and it’s just over text.”
“That was our first song that we ever wrote together. We were never even in the same room, but we were writing a song to each other.”
