According to QQ, Leung mentioned that she is now responsible for welcoming customers, taking orders, wiping tables, cleaning the kitchen, and preparing some chicken dishes at her friend’s restaurant. She works long hours from morning until night with high intensity.

Leung shared that many customers recognize her and ask for photos when they come to dine, and she responds kindly and cheerfully.

“Whether acting or waiting tables, both are jobs,” she said. “There is no distinction in terms of prestige, only different in nature. Now, I need to change my mindset and expand my horizons to learn new knowledge.”

Speaking of her plans for the future, Leung intends to open a food store and go into business. Regarding acting, she still has a passion for it. She said if she gets the opportunity and receives invitations from directors and producers, she would continue to contribute. The actress hopes to participate in films and shows about cuisine.

Leung, 31, is known for her supporting roles in TVB drama series like “Come Home Love: Lo and Behold,” “C9 Tegong,” and “Big White Duel.” She departed from TVB in 2021 under strained relations.

According to 8days, Leung said TVB had offered her a contract with no basic salary because she did not act in enough projects, then revealed that it was the company that had gradually reduced her output over the years. While they had offered her 100 shows a year, she only got “60 to 70” show offers a year despite requesting to get cast more at the time she left.

She also said that she was subject to “nasty remarks” during contract negotiations, and would be forced to listen to “demeaning comments” as well.
