Spears shares daughter Maddie with her ex-fiancé Casey Aldridge
Jamie Lynn Spears is reveling in her eldest daughter’s high school milestone!
On Sunday, March 30, the former Zoey 101 star, 33, shared several photographs of her daughter Maddie — whom she shares with her ex-fiancé Casey Aldridge — on Instagram to mark the 16-year-old’s junior prom.
Maddie was all smiles as she posed for the snaps in a lilac dress from the clothing brand Sherri Hill paired with metallic Christian Louboutin heels. In one photo, she and her date, Joseph Daix, wrapped their arms around each other, while in another, Maddie was accompanied by her younger sister Ivey, 6.

“Junior prom💜☂️” Spears captioned the post, which also included a photo of her alongside Maddie in denim shorts, a red t-shirt, and boots.

The collection of images shared by Spears included a family shot with her husband, Jamie Watson, and several of Maddie with her friends.
“Prom💟💟💟” Maddie wrote on her own Instagram as she shared more photos from the occasion.
Daix also posted photos of himself with Maddie and his friends on Instagram, with the caption “ ‘Do you be yourself and love being yourself.” – Kendrick Lamar”
Maddie commented, “The best dateee,” with Daix replying, “Right back at ya 😎”
The post comes a month after Spears shared a sweet family dress-up clip on Instagram showing the teen picking her dress for junior prom.
Spears was wearing the lilac dress Maddie ended up wearing to prom, while Maddie was captured trying on a “kind of big” pearl-embellished gold gown. Ivey also got involved, playing host as they modeled the dresses.
“And our pageant winner is Maddie Watson,” Ivey shouted in the video.

Jamie Lynn Spears’ 2 Children: All About Maddie and Ivey
The younger sister of pop star Britney, Jamie Lynn Spears, was just 17 years old when she welcomed Maddie Briann on June 19, 2008, with her then 19-year-old fiancé, Casey Aldridge.
Having learned that she was pregnant at 16, Spears decided to take a break from acting and moved to Mississippi. She and Aldridge split in 2010 when Maddie was 19 months old.
After then moving to her home state of Louisiana, Spears met James Watson, and the pair married in 2014. They welcomed their daughter Ivey in 2018.
“I don’t feel like a young mom at all now, but I guess that’s because I had my first daughter so very young. I use to be insecure at times, because I was always the youngest mom in the room,” Spears told Dopple back in 2019.
“I quickly learned that being a good and competent mother has nothing to do with age,” she continued. “I have met some of the most wonderful amazing moms who are anywhere from 20 years old to 50 years old, so young or old, love is all it’s really about.”
