The singer shared everything he eats in a day while on tour, thanks to his nutrition coach Ian Larios who has been “killing it”
Jelly Roll’s not giving up his favorite treats as he continues to lose weight, sharing a video of what he eats in a single day while he’s on tour — and showing how his nutrition coach, Ian Larios, whips up healthy versions of the singer’s favorites.
“This is everything I eat in a day when I’m on tour,” said Jelly, 40, who wrapped his Beautifully Broken tour and is about to embark on the Big Ass Stadium Tour with Post Malone. As the “Save Me” singer wrote alongside a reel shared March 31 to Instagram, “Chef Larios has been killing it even more lately so today we wanted to show y’all a little bit of what the day-to-day looks like on tour.”

“I only eat two meals a day and one snack,” Jelly said alongside Larios, who showed how he makes protein-packed, healthier versions of the singer’s favorite meals.
First up? A “healthy breakfast bowl,” or as Larios called it, a ”Waffle House Bowl, healthy rendition.”
“That’s what I’m talking about, baby!” Jelly cheered.
Larios explained that he makes his own hash browns, cooked in Wagyu beef tallow, and uses chicken sausage, bell peppers and bone broth, which he says is “packed with protein.” He air fries the potatoes before mixing them in sauerkraut.

“Carbs, it’s got protein, packed with probiotics,” Larios explains, presenting the first meal of the day to the “I Am Not OK” singer.
“Oh, is it the one with the sauerkraut?” Jelly, whose real name is Jason DeFord, asked, mixing up the bowl. “It all started because I love Waffle House. Larios figured out a way to not only make ‘em taste good but good for my tummy.”
Waffle House’s Hash Brown bowls can reach a whopping 920 calories, per the restaurant’s website.
Next up was Jelly’s favorite snack, a peanut butter dough cookie bite with sliced bananas. “It’s one snack a day so this is something he really looks forward to,” Larios explained.
“Oh, peanut butter bananas?” Jelly says when he sees the dish, visibly delighted by it.

The second and last meal of the day is dairy-free poutine, which Jelly jokes is “protein poutine.” It’s made with cashew cheese curds, which Larios says is “almost cheese-like.”
Next, Larios cooks chicken thighs in bone broth, adds homemade French fries and makes gravy with caramelized peppers in some bone broth. He also adds chicken sausage and rice flour to their gravy.
“Yo, them cheese curds are fire,” Jelly said as he took a bite. Larios previously shared that for exercise when they’re on tour, “We’re either walking [around] the arena, playing basketball, boxing.”
Jelly — who previously said he was a “550-lb zombie” — surpassed his weight-loss goal of 100 lbs. last October. He said he’s now lost about 140 lbs. and is preparing for his second 5K, inviting fans to virtually join him in “Jelly Roll’s Losers Run Club.”
“I know how rough it was at first and how embarrassed I was to just be sucking snot and air every time I walked down the driveway,” he said. “But it felt so good to have friends and people behind me, telling me I was doing the right thing … I believe that we can create huge change right here.”
