Khloé Kardashian Was Stopped by Cop at 15 After Driving Caitlyn Jenner’s Car Without a License

The Good American co-founder, who impersonated her sisters at the time, also recalled mom Kris Jenner’s reaction to the incident

Khloé Kardashian was quite the troublemaker as a teen!

On Wednesday, March 12, The Kardashians star was joined by her mother Kris Jenner for the latest episode of her Khloé in Wonderland podcast, where the two looked back at some of Khloé’s rebellious childhood moments.

“I want to say when I was 15, I didn’t have a license yet, and I stole Bruce’s (currently known as Caitlyn Jenner) Expedition,” Khloé recalled, adding that she was driving on a Los Angeles freeway. “So I guess I swerved a little and I got pulled over and I was wearing a really cute skirt from Forever 21.”

When the police asked for her license and registration, she admitted that she didn’t have her license, but told the officer, “My name is… I think I said Kourtney Kardashian, but my birthday – and I gave Kim [Kardashian]‘s birthday.”

“Of course, they were like ‘You’re lying, get out of the car,'” she continued. “I got taken to jail, so I went to jail, they called you and I don’t know it was like 9 or 10 at night.”

The Good American founder clarified that officers didn’t take her to an actual jail, but let her wait at a precinct until Kris could come to pick her up.

“They impounded the car and you were like, ‘What’s wrong with you? Look at this short skirt you’re wearing like you could have been a hooker!” she laughed, noting that the angry chastising was done in private while she told officers, “Oh she’s a great girl” and “Ah, teenagers, I don’t know why she did that!”

Though Khloé got off with a warning, Kris kept the incident from her then-husband. The car ended up getting impounded for 30 days, and the famed momager had to create a story to keep her daughter’s escapades a secret.

“I remember he couldn’t get the car the next day and he’s like where’s my Escalade?” Kris continued. “[I said], ‘Oh, it had a scratch and I took it right to the shop!'”

Behind closed doors, Khloé recalled how Kris ended up “cussing me out” and that she was also “on punishment.” While it wasn’t a positive experience, Khloé admitted that she felt a lot of gratitude towards Kris for giving her grace for her indiscretions.

“You kept it from Bruce and I was always like, that was really nice of you. That was really cool of you that you did that,” she smiled.

Kris replied, “You guys showed me a lot of respect, so even though you were probably shaking because that was a horrible thing to go through, and scared of what I might do or how I would react, you know my temperature.”

“You know that when I get really mad and [say] ‘Get in the car! You know, you’re dead! Get in the car!’ – you know that I don’t mean any of that,” she continued. “You just know that because you know me, your mom. And I’m gonna get in the car and we’re gonna laugh about it one day.”
