Miss Universe 2024 is Victoria Kjær Theilvig of Denmark

The 73rd edition of Miss Universe concluded with abundance of pomp and grandeur and the crown was bestowed to the contestant that was long suspected to be the top favorite of the judges and the audience. It has been two straight years that Miss Universe has crowned the most deserving candidate. As stated in our Final Hot Picks, our collective hearts believe it is Miss Denmark Victoria Kjær Theilvig who will walk away with the crown. The 21-year-old animal welfare advocate from Soborg made history as first ever Danish woman to win the prestigious title.

Unfortunately, many of our beauty experts believed things would go political and Miss Thailand Suchata Chuangsri will reign supreme. However, she settled for 3rd runner-up position. Miss Nigeria Chidimma Adetshina rattled the cages of the frontrunners and she proved her detractors wrong by placing as the first runner-up. The local girl, Miss Mexico María Fernanda Beltrán, became the 2nd runner-up while Miss Venezuela Ileana Márquez is the 4th runner-up.

Miss Bolivia Juliana Barrientos, Miss Argentina Magali Benejam, Miss Puerto Rico Jennifer Colon, Miss Russia Valentina Alekseeva, Miss Chile Emilia Dides, Miss Canada Ashley Callingbull and Miss Peru Tatiana Calmell made it to the Top 12 before being eliminated.

Meanwhile, Miss France Indira Ampiot, Miss India Rhea Singha, Miss Serbia Ivana Trisic, Miss Vietnam Ky Duyen Nguyen, Miss Cuba Marianela Ancheta , Miss China Jia Qi, Miss Japan Kaya Chakrabortty, Miss Egypt Logina Salah, Miss Macau Cassandra Chiu, Miss Philippines Chelsea Manalo, Miss Ecuador Mara Topic, Miss Malaysia Sandra Lim, Miss Aruba Anouk Eman, Miss Finland Matilda Wirtavuori, Miss Dominican Republic Celinee Santos, Miss Cambodia Davin Prasath, Miss Nicaragua Geyssell Garcia and Miss Zimbabwe Sakhile Dube made it as far as Top 30 but failed to progress any further.
