Travis Scott is interested in making this unexpected career change.
The “Sicko Mode” rapper told 14-time world champion wrestler Triple H that he’s “hooked” on wrestling after participating in John Cena’s Elimination Chamber heel turn on Saturday, March 1.
“Bro, this might be better than, low-key, performing,” Scott, 33, said in a video shared on X on March 4. “It was like a whole ‘nother vibe. Yo, it was so crazy because in the ring I was like, ‘We about to be straight bad guys.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, it’s about to hit.’ “
Triple H, 55, told Scott to wait until he wrestled in the ring himself. Scott responded that he was “already hooked” and was planning to build his own wrestling ring at home. “I’m going back to the H [his hometown of Houston] tonight. I’m going to the ring tomorrow! I’m about to build a ring in all the cribs.”
Scott also said he planned to come back “100 pounds bigger.”

During the Elimination Chamber event in Toronto, Scott, Cena, 47, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson all jumped on fellow wrestler Cody Rhodes. Per Billboard, Scott reportedly ruptured Rhodes’ eardrum and suffered a black eye.
Johnson, 52, spoke about Scott’s performance at a press conference following the event.
“He wanted to get his hands bloody,” said The Rock, according to Variety. “I whispered to him as he was going out [to the ring]. I said, ‘if you’re gonna get your hands bloody, make it count. Make it count. He slapped the s— of Cody tonight. He was really, really hyped up.”
“He loves the business,” the Moana actor continued. “We get guys and girls like that who want to come in and who are already tapping in culture and disrupting culture in their own cool way. Maybe they want to sit and enjoy, maybe they want to be on camera.”
“But then some want to get involved and then some, like Travis, deeply want to get involved. And that’s what you saw tonight.”
Scott has been a wrestling fan for some time. His most recent appearance in a wrestling ring was in January when Monday Night Raw debuted on Netflix. The “Highest in the Room” rapper also debuted his song “4×4” that evening.

Scott isn’t the only artist to consider wrestling as a second career. Sexyy Red told Dazed in February about her admiration for the sport.
“Rapping and wrestling are pretty much the same,” the rapper said. “It’s not quite acting, but it’s kind of acting too, right? Because when we go home and take off all our jewels and gold and remove the costumes we wear, we then have to go right back to reality with our families.”
Red, 26, made her WWE NXT debut in May 2024.
